Privacy Policy
Last updated July 22, 2026
This policy explains what QuantMap (“we”, “us”) collects when you use quantmap.ai, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It also sets out our billing terms — all sales are final.
Payments, billing & refunds
All sales are final. All purchases and subscription payments are non-refundable.
- • Subscriptions bill in advance on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges — it does not refund a charge that has already been made, and no partial or pro-rated refunds are issued for unused time.
- • Where a plan includes a free trial, you may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Once the trial converts, that charge is final.
- • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe holds your payment details and shares only the last four digits, card brand and billing country with us. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- • Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you, and we will always correct a genuine billing error on our side — email contact@quantmap.ai.
What we collect
Account data. Your email address and a hashed password, plus the subscription status and plan tied to your account.
Content you create. The projects, code, notes, strategies and chat messages you write in the workspace, so we can save them and show them back to you.
Usage data. Basic technical and product logs — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, features used, AI request counts and errors — used to run the service, meter usage against your plan, and fix bugs.
Payment data. Handled by Stripe as described above. We store only the identifiers and metadata needed to know what you are subscribed to.
How we use it
To provide and secure the product, authenticate you, run backtests and research requests, meter AI usage against your plan, process payments, respond to support requests, and improve the service. We may send you transactional email about your account, billing or material changes to the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that make the product work, and only as much as they need: our hosting and database providers, Stripe for payments, and AI model providers for the prompts and code you send to the research agent. Content you submit to the agent is transmitted to the model provider to generate a response. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated content at any time by emailing contact@quantmap.ai; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons. Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund.
Cookies
We use a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. It is required for the product to function; blocking it will prevent sign-in.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is limited. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Your choices
You can access and edit your content in the app, update your email or password in settings, cancel your subscription at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your data by email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data — contact us and we will honour them.
Children
QuantMap is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
